Rules and Regulations
This school diary is an important communication link between parents and the school.
- It must be brought to school daily.
- Parents are advised to check the diary regularly and use it to share suggestions or communicate with teachers and school authorities.
1. Attendance
- Students must be regular and punctual in their attendance.
- Planned leave must be applied for in advance with a written request and prior approval.
- In case of sickness or emergencies, a leave letter must be submitted on the first day of absence.
- Absence on reopening day is strictly discouraged.
- Emergency permission to leave school during the day will only be granted based on a written request from parents and at the discretion of the Principal.
- Half-day leave is not encouraged and will only be considered in genuine emergencies.
- Students absent without prior intimation must bring an explanation letter upon return.
- Leave on medical grounds should be supported by a valid medical certificate.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for promotion to the next class.
- Irregular attendance and prolonged unauthorized absence can result in removal of the student’s name from the rolls.
- Students suffering from infectious or contagious diseases must refrain from attending classes.
- Students with unpaid term fees will not be allowed to sit for examinations.
- The school library is open every day for academic enrichment.
- Wearing gold jewellery or rings is strictly prohibited on school premises.
2. Conduct and Discipline
- Students must always be polite, respectful, and well-behaved.
- Use of foul language, cheating, misconduct, or disobedience may lead to strict disciplinary action, including expulsion.
- All students must be present in school at least 15 minutes before the final bell.
3. Uniform
- It is the responsibility of parents to ensure their child comes to school in a clean and proper uniform.
- Wearing the full school uniform is compulsory.
- Students who habitually disregard the dress code will face disciplinary measures.
4. Examinations
- Students must secure a minimum average of 35% in each subject to be eligible for promotion.
- No re-tests or special exams will be conducted for absentees. Absence results in loss of rank and average.
- Results declared at the end of the year are final and cannot be reconsidered.
- Parents must attend progress meetings and sign the report card on dates announced by the school.
5. Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Applications for TC must be made in writing by the Parent/Guardian.
- TCs will not be issued unless all dues are cleared.
- TCs will be handed only to the parent/guardian; the student must be present for identification.
- In case of parental job transfers, a copy of the transfer order must be attached to the application.
- TC applications submitted after May 5th will be processed only after payment of the first-term fee of the next academic year.
- The school reserves the right to amend or implement new rules as necessary, and students are expected to comply.
6. General Guidelines
- Students must take care of their personal belongings. The school is not responsible for lost items.
- Any change in address or contact number must be informed to the office immediately.
- Students must participate in all co-curricular activities unless officially excused.
- Fee payments must be made at the cash counter, and receipts collected. The school is not liable for unreceipted payments.
- Parents are encouraged to attend all school events and programs regularly and treat invitations as direct invitations.
7. Instructions to Students
- Greet every teacher respectfully inside the school campus. Stand and wish when a teacher or visitor enters the classroom.
- Do not interrupt when teachers are conversing.
- Always speak politely to teachers and elders.
- Maintain silence in the classroom in the absence of the teacher.
- Bring your school diary daily and record important events and assignments.
- Keep the school clean and tidy. It reflects your character and adds to your pride.
- Use of bad language, indiscipline, or rudeness will lead to strict action.
- Aim for full attendance and punctuality.
- Participate in sports and recreational activities to refresh your mind.
- Take part in inter-school and intra-school competitions. Use every opportunity to grow.
- Behave well outside school too—your conduct represents the school and your family.
- Use your time wisely. Time is valuable—don’t waste it.
- Complete each day's lessons on the same day and preserve your notes carefully.
- Choose studious and motivated friends who inspire and support you.
- Study sincerely and strive to do your best. Your parents, teachers, and country expect great things from you!
